Baitong means green in Khmer and that is the seed for this unique luxury boutique hotel’s post-industrial modern aesthetic. Centrally located in BKK1, this surprising oasis boasting 106 rooms offers an experiential treat. We love the concrete stairs, the nature-takes-over a post-apocalyptic world vibe and the mid-century hipster touches.
Since opening, Baitong has earned great reviews for it’s luxury boutique hotel and spa experience in Phnom Penh. For this category, it’s actually a great value, which drives alot of the great reviews on travel websites.
@DavidGranger on TripAdvisor called it a “Beautiful Hotel” and had further commented:
“This is easily the most beautiful hotel in Phnom Penh. Very confortable and clean beds and sheets. Top class rooms and amentities. Delicious buffet breakfast. Great service. This is easily my hotel of choice when staying in Phnom Penh”
We don’t know about “the most beautiful hotel in Phnom Penh”. That might be the just opened Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh hotel. The “most interesting”? Perhaps.
