Did we mention that it’s gorgeous? Architecturally designed to induce Zen-like relaxation, this sanctuary features an expansive pool overlooking the Mekong while open-air corridors are adorned with Cambodia’s natural flora and fawna. Exquisite touches include walls made of Indonesian inspired Palimanan sandstone. The name Balé references Bali, as in Indonesia, where the parent company Lifestyle Retreats has 6 similar properties.
Just 15 minutes to central Phnom Penh, Balé Phnom Penh is a great choice not just for those visiting Cambodia but Phnom Penhers in search of a staycation.

The Balé Phnom Penh faces East and therefore catches the morning sun but is shaded all through the afternoon.
The Balé Phnom Penh hotel’s restaurant Theato is also excellent and serves lunch poolside.
Despite it’s high-end, luxe vibe, they are not above deals as low as $45/night for courtyard weekday bookings. At that price, we highly recommend you try the Balé Phnom Penh.
