Bokor Town is now officially on the map. It’s not everyday a new town is created in Cambodia but that’s precisely what is happening with Bokor Town, along the western edge of Kampot and comprising of Prek Tnort, Koh Touch and Boeung Touk. Yet, it’s a long time coming. The concept of a Bokor Town has existed since the 50s and 60s.

Officially a Bokor Town designation means that infrastructure will be invested as well as an administrative system, which will hopefully attract investors to the second most popular coastal area after Preah Sihanouk, which Bokor Town will border.
